Trappist 

Trappist beer is not a beer style but an appellation.
The International Trappist Association grants the famous label "Authentic Trappist Product" (ATP) according to strict rules.
The beer has to be brewed within the walls or in proximity of monastery belongs to Cistercians Monks, better known as  Trappist Monks.
The monastic community handles the management and supervision of the brewing.
Most of the benefits are used for the monastic community and service activities.
There are 11 Trappist beers in the world and despite of his small territory, Belgium owns 6 and they assists to the fame of Belgian brewing heritage.

Belgium : Achel, Chimay, Orval, Rochefort, Westmalle and Westvleteren which Westvleteren XII was rated several times, Best Beer in the world.
Austria : Engelszell (2012)
Netherlands : La Trappe and Zundert (2013)
United-States : Spencer (2013)
Italy : Tre Fontane last Trappist beer released since 11 mai 2015.
