This is a beer brewed as a collaboration with our Swedish friends Electric Nurse. They had the malt bill for a killer barley wine, and we threw masses of our favorite hops at it, Pacific Gem and Amarillo. The resulting brew was a fantastic 10.2% barley wine that we just had to call Bearded Nurse.

26th blend of the 2017-2018 season. This particular geuze is blended with lambics from 6 different barrels originating from 5 different brews. The oldest portion of lambic was brewed in the first days of 2015 and accounts for almost one third of the blend.
Prairie Noir is our bourbon barrel aged imperial oatmeal stout. We brew this beer with a huge amount of oats to give it an ever so silky mouth feel. Notes of coffee, chocolate, and toasted marshmallow can be found in the flavor and aroma of this beer. Notes of whiskey and carmel are also packed into this beer.

The final fruit intensity is 388 grams of fruit per liter of Hommage (38.8%). Pirate bomb is our beer Prairie Bomb! aged in rum casks. The flavor from the casks helps impart more vanilla and coconut flavors to the beer while helping to add more body and smoothness to the already explosive and expressive flavors of Bomb!
Vanilla Noir is Prairie Noir aged on organic, fair trade vanilla beans, and let’s just say it takes a lot of beans! The vanilla flavor compliments the whiskey barrel aging process and adds a delicious layer to the beer.
