Blend n° 63 bottling date: 19/06/2018 bottle count: 515. For this strawberry lambik, we used organic strawberries from the Ferme Framboos and we macerated on a Château Pabus barrel. The maceration period was very short - one month - and was immediately bottled afterwards, followed by a longer bottle conditioning. The fruit intensity is 366 grams of strawberries per litre of bottled Bio Aardbei. Brouwerij 3 Fonteinen “Speling van het Lot” (Twist of Fate) is a series of small batch experimental brews, barrel maturations, fruit macerations and/or blends. This 9th version features a range of strawberry maceration iterations aiming at balancing the intense fruitiness of strawberries with the subtleties of traditional lambik while minimizing the unpleasant phenolic characteristics of the small pits
